The Dunstall Holdings Group contains two business streams which are involved in agricultural and industrial applications. The Group has 7 different locations in the UK and with a turnover of over £100m employs over 240 people.

Part of the Dunstall Holdings Groups, Rea Valley Tractors (RVT) was established over 30 years ago and is a leading regional agricultural machinery dealer. Supplying an extensive range of agricultural machinery throughout Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and mid Wales and also selling high-quality used equipment across the UK and abroad.

We have four depots in Newport, Shrewsbury, Sudbury and Welshpool. The main franchises that we represent are John Deere, JCB and Kuhn.

Altegra Integrated solutions (previously Lift West and Amvar) has grown to become one of the UK's leading independently owned forklift truck and material handling equipment service providers, and provides storage & workplace solutions, facilities management, training, hire and servicing to its customers with 2 sites located across the UK.

We offer an individual solution for all our customer’s facility needs including forklift trucks, industrial and commercial doors, and general industrial equipment, to also cover pallet racking systems, mezzanine floors, operator training and much more.

Purpose And Scope

Coordinates all business efforts in the areas of technology related products, service selection, set up, support, communications and data protection in order to assist employees in efficiently completing work.

As a group role this would require working between the Agricultural Division head office in Shropshire and our Industrial Division Head Office location in Somerset, and would also require regular travel to all sites across the group. This is a full-time role based on a 40-hour week from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.


Manage information technology and computer systems including managing all user details and user accounts

Plan, organise, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.

Ensure security of data, network access and systems backups.

Provide 1st and 2nd line support for users in relation to PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, telephones, label devices etc.

Carry out hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and replacement, as necessary.

Manage supplier contracts and negotiations for both IT hardware and software.

Manage remote access functionality for users and remote desktop services.

Identify problematic areas and implement solutions.

Ensure our Dealer Business Systems are kept up to date and liaise with the systems suppliers to ensure smooth day to day running, and user access to the correct security levels.

Offer training and support to users.

Install manufacturers software onto relevant tablets or laptop computers.

Safeguards business technology systems, passwords and network access policies.

Coordinates relationship with external IT and communication providers to ensure compliance on IT and communication requirements, such as anti-virus updates, network administration, disaster recovery plan, internet access etc..


You will possess a proven IT management track record together with demonstrable knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.

Excellent communication skills are essential to liaise with personnel on all levels both internal and external. Relevant IT qualifications/certifications are also desirable.

An energetic mindset, looking to develop yourself and others whilst improving what we deliver for our customers.

Network routers, switches, firewall installation and operational troubleshooting of equipment and wiring installations.

Ability to source and maintain IT hardware, standardising the equipment used across the group repairing and upgrading experience required.

Familiarisation of Sage, Ibcos, Key and Proteon would be a distinct advantage.

Ability to work in a team environment.
